INSTRUCTOR:
William D. “Otto” Spence, SR/WA, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS is the owner of William D. Otto Spence Real Estate. His primary market area Appraiser is based in the MSA of Louisville, Kentucky. Majority of the appraisal work is obtained from the State of Kentucky, Southern Portion of Indiana and State of South Dakota, and secondary area is Central portion of the US. Majority of the standard appraisal work is obtained from bordering states of Kentucky. Appraisal work dealing with Litigation appraisals, Litigation reviews and supporting Litigation services have been throughout the US. The property types of focus are residential, land, commercial, industrial, public, recreational, agricultural, and special purpose. Otto also believes in the pathways and designations of IRWA and AI (Appraisal Institute), and makes it a mission to push all individuals to obtain those for the next steps of their careers. Otto holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Eastern KY University, and a Masters in Real Estate Appraisal from University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Otto serves on the Kentucky Chapter 25 Board of Directors, is a past president, and is also 2019-2020 Region Five Secretary/Treasurer. Otto also teaches courses for AI and moderates during educational and appraisal seminars.
