Course Description: 501 Residential Relocation Assistance
INSTRUCTOR:
Tanya Johnson, SR/WA, R/W-RAC, is a right of way professional with over 30 years of experience specializing in project management, acquisition negotiations, relocation assistance, and compliance audits. She holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a certified IRWA instructor with multiple state real estate licenses. Tanya has led major transportation projects across the U.S., including light rail expansions for Sound Transit in Washington, compliance audits for CDOT, and large-scale relocations for agencies such as RTD and the Florida DOT. She is recognized for her in-depth knowledge of the Uniform Act and her capability to navigate complex relocation scenarios. Florence Green, SR/WA, RW-RAC began her career in Right of Way with the Florida Department of Transportation where she worked in the roles as Relocation Administrator and Project Manager on some of the largest projects in South Florida. She is currently the AtkinsRealis North Carolina Right of Way Lead. Her 30+ years of experience in the Right of Way industry earned Florence an AASHTO Leadership Award, FDOT Sustained Superior Performance Award, FDOT Making the Difference, Chapter 26 Professional of the Year, and the International Right of Way Region 6 Professional of the Year Award. Ms. Green has been an active IRWA member since 1989, is an IRWA Instructor, and has served as Chapter Education Chair, Professional Development Chair, Secretary and Chapter President. Florence holds the distinguished certification of SR/WA as well as RW/RAC with the International Right of Way Association.
