I am an experienced Appraiser with 20+ years in the real estate field. To-date, I have completed valuations for various property types, including residential, commercial, industrial, vacant land and special-use properties. My specialties include relocation assistance, acquisitions, property management, feasibility studies, business analysis, zoning and permitting, due diligence, and complex appraisal assignments. This work is complemented by appraisal assignments for various levels of government for expropriation matters - full fee, partial acquisition, limited interest agreements, easements and right of ways. Appeared before various courts and tribunals, as an expert witness on valuation matters. James Hardy, B. Comm, P. App, AACI, MRICS, SR/WA James has been active in the commercial real estate industry for the past 20 years holding roles in both the private and public sectors and is currently the Director of Real Property Services for the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works. He is a professionally designed commercial appraiser predominately working in infrastructure real estate and experienced across a broad range of asset types. James is a qualified expert in real property valuation, and specializes in land, right of ways, linear corridors, and expropriation compensation.
