Course Description: 102 Elevating Your Ethical Awareness
INSTRUCTOR: William D. (Bill) Giese, SR/WA, president of Synergy Land Services Ltd. (Synergy Land) has had an extensive and broad back ground in all land aspects since obtaining his Land Agents Licence in 1986. Still active in the field today by either training Land Agents for his company or dealing with the most difficult negotiations (including ADR), he remains focused on project management. Mr. Giese obtained his Petroleum & Mineral Land Management Diploma from Mount Royal College in 1992. Among his twenty years of service Mr. Giese has successfully held more responsible roles including Senior Land Agent, Project Manager, Vice President (brokerage) and finally his current role as President/Owner of Synergy Land Services Ltd. Synergy Land is a full brokerage company handling various Oil & Gas, Powerline, Pipeline and Highway/Roadway projects of varying size. Mr. Giese continues to be involved with various roles in committees for all aspects of Land and Regulatory matters; secretary of the Field Acquisition Management Committee for Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen, formerly the president of IRWA Chapter #48 in Calgary and other volunteer duties in these organizations. In addition to helping to build hot topic courses Mr. Giese has been approved to facilitate/co facilitate IRWA course 200, 201, 222c and 215.
