INSTRUCTOR:

Susan Park‑Robinson has over 30 years of experience in surveying, construction, right of way, and project management for major public‑sector infrastructure programs in Southern California. Her background includes work as a land surveyor, Project Surveyor for the Metropolitan Water District, and right of way and utility management on federally funded transit projects. She is a licensed California Land Surveyor (License No. 6982) and currently serves as an Acquisition Agent for RCTC and RCA, supporting property acquisition, negotiations, and coordination for regional transportation and conservation initiatives. Susan holds a Master’s in Business from Claremont Graduate School with an emphasis in Finance, a Master’s in Teaching and Education from the University of Redlands, and a California Teaching Credential.

 

Laura Henry-Slye, SR/WA, brings more than 40 years of experience delivering complex capital projects across civil engineering, land surveying, transportation, and right‑of‑way. Her career spans both technical and leadership roles, supported by degrees in Civil Engineering and Communications. She began her professional journey in Anchorage, Alaska, working as a cartographer and mapmaker before earning her Civil Engineering degree in 1984. Since then, she has worked extensively in aerial and land surveying, roadway design, construction inspection, land descriptions, negotiations, and right‑of‑way acquisition in both the private and public sectors.
