Steve Shockley, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS, R/W-AC, CCIM is a senior vice president of Newmark Knight Frank Valuation & Advisory in the Indianapolis office, where he additionally serves as the national firm’s prime point of contact for all right-of-way projects. A highly experienced appraiser with 14 years in the business, Steve has a broad range of experience in appraising and review appraising all of the major property types, including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, vacant land and special purpose properties. Steve has served at the national level for both the CCIM Institute and the Appraisal Institute. He has taught appraisal courses for the Appraisal Institute in both classroom and online settings, He has also reviewed a series of appraisal publications, and serves in various admissions capacities for candidates for designation of the Appraisal Institute, where he consistently receives high ratings. Steve is a CLIMB Certified Instructor, is a platinum sponsor and Vice Chair of the Education Committee for Chapter 5 in Kansas City, where he previously lived and worked. Steve holds a certified general real estate appraiser license in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas.
