Course Description

This 4-hour renewable (green) energy course will provide IRWA members and non-members with an introduction to solar energy. This course provides a description, glossary of terms, legislation and regulation, relationships and partnerships, various technologies, advantages and disadvantages, environmental impacts, and mitigation.

By the end of this 4-hour course, you will: • Demonstrate a basic understanding of solar energy, individual and solar arrays, source, installations, considerations, and types. • Recognize the advantages and disadvantages, environmental impacts, and the cost associated with solar energy. • Apply the course content in your workplace to engage, consult, negotiate, and acquire for a solar project.
