Throughout the course, the terms infrastructure professional and agent are synonymous. At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to: • Identify and describe five energy classes and four green energy types; • Describe three means of generating wind energy; • Explain the sequence of constructing a land-based wind farm; • Prepare a Personal Get Started Plan (PGSP); • Understand the unique elements of permitting a wind project; • Explain the purpose and structure of Lease Options Agreements (LOAs); and • Learn tips for presenting a project proposal to a local public agency. • Familiarize participants with the types of energy and the metrics for comparing energy types; • Present the history, advantages, and disadvantages of wind energy; • Focus on aspects of wind energy right of way acquisition that differs from other infrastructure right of way work; and • Provide participants with a valuable reference document.
