Course Description: 904 GIS Principles and Use in Infrastructure Asset Management
INSTRUCTOR:
Nigel Day, OLS, OLIP, Head of the Geomatics Section at the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) in Kingston, is a professional Ontario Land Surveyor with 26 years of experience. He leads a section with core functions in legal surveys, topographic surveys, and GIS data compilation. Active in promoting surveying with educational institutions and professional organizations, he also delivers health and safety training at MTO and presents at industry events such as the Geospatial Advancement Canada symposium in Ottawa, the Professional Surveyors of Canada AGM in Niagara Falls, and at several AGMs of the AOLS.
