Course Description:  506 Advanced Business Relocation Assistance

INSTRUCTOR:
Lisa Barnes, SR/WA, R/W-RAC
is the Vice-President of ORC Training, a division of O. R. Colan Associates, LLC, where she is responsible for the company’s internal training, as well as developing external training products. She previously served with the Florida Department of Transportation in the areas of land acquisition, relocation assistance, eminent domain and property management. Barnes is a certified IRWA instructor for all relocation courses and is a certified instructor for the National Highway Institute of the FHWA. She is also an author of the recently completed NHI “Advanced Relocation” and “Business Relocation” courses. Barnes is the past Chair for IRWA’s International Relocation Committee and has been a guest speaker at several IRWA Annual Education Conferences. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Florida State University, Barnes is also a licensed Florida real estate broker and instructor.

Florence Green, SR/WA, R/W-RAC began her career in Right of Way with the Florida Department of Transportation where she served in the roles as Relocation Administrator and Project Manager on some of the largest projects in South Florida.  She also managed Right of Way Production for the City of Charlotte’s first Light Rail Project.  Ms. Green served as the Deputy Director of Right of Way for State of North Carolina for 4 years before returning to Florida to lead the North Florida and Houston Texas HDR project management program. She is currently a Senior Right of Way Manager with Atkins Global.  Her 30+ years of experience in the Right of Way industry earned Florence a 2014 AASHTO Leadership Award.  Ms. Green has been an active IRWA member since 1989, is a Certified IRWA Instructor, and has served as Chapter Education Chair, Professional Development Chair, Secretary and Chapter President. Florence has been guest speaker at IRWA Annual Conferences as well as AASHTO conferences and is a Florida licensed real estate salesperson.
