Course Description: 900 Principles of Real Estate Engineering
INSTRUCTOR:
Gary Kent is Integrated Services Director for The Schneider Corporation, a land surveying, GIS and consulting engineering firm headquartered in Indianapolis, where he has been employed since 1983. He is a past President of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping and of the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, and has been recognized nationally for his efforts in those organizations. In 2004, Gary was appointed by the Governor to a four year term on the Indiana State Board of Registration for Land Surveyors, and he currently serves as Vice Chairman. He is a certified instructor for the International Right of Way Association and also teaches at Purdue University in Indianapolis where he has received two “Excellence in Teaching” awards. Gary is a regular speaker across the country on various surveying and GIS topics, and also writes a regular column for “The American Surveyor” called “Reconnaissance.”
