Course Description: This four-hour renewable (green) energy course provides IRWA members and non-members with an introduction to Geothermal Energy. This course also provides a description, glossary of terms, sources, legislation and regulation, advantages and disadvantages, environmental impacts, and more.
Target Audience Engineers, Attorneys, Land Acquisition Specialists, Relocation Specialists, Land Use Planners, Project Managers, Property Managers, Appraisers, Government Employees, and Consultants.
Course Objectives By the end of this 4-hour course, you will: • Demonstrate a basic understanding of geothermal energy, its sources, types, and considerations. • Consider the advantages and disadvantages, and environmental impacts associated with geothermal energy. • Use this knowledge to research and apply. • Respond knowledgeably and effectively to questions and concerns.
