Course Description: 303 Project Management (Initiate to Close) and the Consultant Hiring Process

INSTRUCTORS:

Sunshine Vanover, SR/WA, PMP began her right of way career on a TxDOT Special Projects Division concession project employed by SH 130 Concession Company, LLC as an assistant project manager.  Here she was immersed in many facets of the right of way process from design, survey, environmental, acquisition, relocation, condemnation, property management, to operations and maintenance. Her next position was project manager for O. R. Colan Associates, LLC on the Grand Parkway (SH 99), Segments F & G in Houston, Texas.  While working for Universal Field Services, Inc. she worked as a senior negotiator on SL 375 Border West Expressway in El Paso, Texas.  In addition to her career achievements, she is a veteran of the United States Air Force and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with a major in Construction from Texas State University-San Marcos, a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Industrial Management focusing on lean management from Texas A & M-Kingsville.  Sunshine is currently a member of Chapter 74 Professional Development Committee.  She hold a Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a Texas Brokers license. Sunshine is currently the owner of Republic Right of Way, LLC based in Humble, Texas.
 
Donn Bennett, M.Sc., AACI, SRWA, ASA, CESA, MRICS, RPA is an experienced Appraiser with 20+ years in the real estate field. To-date, Donn has completed valuations for various property types, including residential, commercial, industrial, vacant land and special-use properties. His specialties include relocation assistance, acquisitions, property management, feasibility studies, business analysis, zoning and permitting, due diligence, and complex appraisal assignments. This work is complemented by appraisal assignments for various levels of government for expropriation matters - full fee, partial acquisition, limited interest agreements, easements and right of ways. Donn has appeared before various courts and tribunals, as an expert witness on valuation matters.
