I am an experienced Appraiser with 20+ years in the real estate field. To-date, I have completed valuations for various property types, including residential, commercial, industrial, vacant land and special-use properties. My specialties include relocation assistance, acquisitions, property management, feasibility studies, business analysis, zoning and permitting, due diligence, and complex appraisal assignments. This work is complemented by appraisal assignments for various levels of government for expropriation matters - full fee, partial acquisition, limited interest agreements, easements and right of ways. Appeared before various courts and tribunals, as an expert witness on valuation matters. James Hardy is experienced in the commercial real estate industry working on a variety of appraisal, consulting and research assignments. He has completed appraisal assignments for acquisition, disposal, financing, accounting, foreclosure, arbitration, right of way and expropriation purposes. James specializes in land, highest and best use, hospitality, industrial, and right of way services.Much of James' work is focused on Right of Way services completing valuations for partial takings, easements and linear right of ways. James has attended seminars and events directly relating to commercial real estate, and completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia. More recently James has completed his Right of Way Appraisal Certificate, R/W-AC through the International Right Of Way Association and continues to attend industry courses in the Right of Way field.
