Course Description: 802 Legal Aspects of Easements
INSTRUCTOR:

Sue R. Evans has been a licensed attorney since 1978, concentrating her work in title, real estate, oil & gas, probate and corporate law.  From 1994 – 2015, she was the Vice President (Western Division) of Coates Field Service, Inc., a nation-wide consulting firm providing acquisition and relocation services to public and private clients since 1950.  After semi-retirement in 2015, Ms. Evans has continued to work as a Project Manager for Coates.  Ms. Evans was in private law practice in Oklahoma for 8 years before joining Coates in 1987.  With Coates, she has worked on projects involving new pipeline construction, levee reconstruction, utility services, telecommunication sites, railroads, new schools and commercial marine ports.  Ms. Evans received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1975, and her law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1978.  She is a licensed California attorney and real estate broker in California and Arizona.  She has been involved in IRWA Chapter 2 activities since 1995 and served as Chapter 2 Education Chair for over 5 years.  She has taught IRWA Courses 801 and 802 for over 20 years.
