Course Description: 501 Residential Relocation Assistance
INSTRUCTOR:
Lacie Jones, SR/WA, R/W-URAC, R/W-NAC, R/W-RAC, CFM, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and has more than 14 years of experience in the right-of-way profession, specializing in acquisition, relocation, and project management. Since joining the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) in 2013, she has been actively involved in chapter leadership, serving as the Young Professionals Chair, Social Media Chair, Education Chair, and a member of her Chapter's Executive Board. She currently serves as Region 2 Vice Chair.
Lacie has been recognized for her contributions to the profession through multiple IRWA awards, including Chapter 33 Young Professional of the Year (2014–2015) and Professional of the Year (2016–2017 and 2022–2023). Throughout her career, she has successfully managed complex public infrastructure projects, providing innovative, detail-oriented solutions while maintaining a strong focus on client communication and project delivery.
An expert in the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended (URA), Lacie holds IRWA certifications in Negotiation (R/W-NAC), Relocation Assistance (R/W-RAC), and the Uniform Act (R/W-URAC), as well as the Association's highest professional designation, Senior Right of Way Agent (SR/WA). As an IRWA instructor, she teaches Course 100 – Principles of Land Acquisition, Course 105 – The Uniform Act: Executive Summary, Course 145 – Overview of the Uniform Relocation Assistance Program, Course 200 – Principles of Real Estate Negotiation, and Course 501 – Residential Relocation Assistance.
