Course Description

This course is designed to assist relocation agents in addressing specialized topics encountered in replacement housing situations. These topics include multiple occupants, aliens not lawfully present in the U.S., incidental expenses, and partial-interest owner-occupants.
Students will practice concepts through interactive exercises and case study scenarios. Progress quizzes at the end of each lesson will gauge knowledge transfer. There will also be an exam at the end of the course.
 
 
Course Objectives
 
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe the concept of replacement housingDetermine when multiple occupants constitute more than one householdExplain unique issues regarding aliens not lawfully present in the U.S.Differentiate among the three types of reimbursement categories for incidental expensesRecognize atypical owner-occupants who are eligible for a replacement housing payment
