Course Description

This 4-hour air awareness basics course provides IRWA members and non-members with an introduction to air, air quality and pollution, and wind and its energy. In addition, this course will touch on industry and right of way (ROW) projects, environmental impacts from those activities, and impacts air and wind have on industries and projects, along with mitigation measures.


Credentialing

  • New SR/WA: An elective for the SR/WA designation
  • Recertification: for any of the IRWA’s credentials

Topics

By the end of this 4-hour course, you will demonstrate a basic awareness of the following topics:
  • Air, wind, and the environment.
  • How air and wind events impact industries and ROW projects.
  • How industries and ROW projects impact air/environment and mitigation measures.
